Prairie Rose Burt

Manager/Yoga & Cycling Instuctor

I have been teaching yoga for 18 years. My love for yoga began back in 1999 when I was training for the Honolulu marathon. The more I practiced the more benefits I noticed especially being a runner and fitness lover. I completed a 1 year teacher training at Exhale Yoga in Seattle for beginning and vinyasa flow yoga. I have recently been studying and teaching Kundalini Yoga as well. I'm certified as well in Group Fitness and Indoor Cycling. Yoga and fitness is my passion. I love teaching and how it lights up my students eyes and hearts and puts a smile on their face, ready to face the world.

Lisa Deal

Born and raised in Lassen County, during the past 20 years I have been teaching high school physical education, health and coaching team sports.   Recently returning from Reno, where I spent the past 10 years teaching yoga and dance to high school students and the public. I started yoga for the physical benefits and it has changed my mind and spirit.  I’m passionate about guiding students to find love for their movement in a life long journey. I focus my yoga style on safe alignment, inclusion and purposeful movement.

I found yoga practice several years ago as a stress management tool in college. What started as a twice a week course for credit quickly evolved into a daily practice. After completing a 200 hour teacher training program close to my hometown in Ohio,  practice became a way of life. Certified in hatha and vinyasa yoga, classes are flow based and focus on the physical and mental aspects of yoga.
When I'm not on a yoga mat, I'm hiking with my new babe, fly fishing with my boyfriend or traveling back to Ohio to visit family.

I have been passionate about health and fitness for over thirteen years. Yoga has been an important part of my life, as I have been practicing yoga for over eight years.
I certified as a Hatha yoga instructor in 2017 with highest honors. Some things Hatha yoga includes are mudras, asanas, chakras, bandhas, pranayama, meditation, and relaxation. I then became Yoga Shred trained in 2018. Yoga Shred or HIIT includes high intenisty interval training that is based on yoga asanas and alignment.
I am passionate about the practice of yoga and I hope you find the same passion through our classes.

 My philosophy is that everyone at every fitness level can find the power and drive within themselves to realize all of their personal goals. I believe this because I once topped the scale at 225 pounds and I had no hope. I set goals and I changed. It is now my passion to help people learn to live a healthier life. Indoor cycling is a fantastic vehicle for creating a healthy mind, body, and spirit. I believe the challenge that indoor cycling presents pushes people to test their physical and personal limits. I am a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer, Group Exercise Instructor, and Sports Nutritionist. I am here to help you be the best YOU possible, RIDE ON!!!!

It is my belief that exercise is meant to enjoyable. I have grown up in an active family where we often went hiking, biking and exploring the outdoors on the weekends. When I was twelve years old, my parents enrolled me in dance lessons and it was then when my passion for fitness began to take off. I began to see the importance of having fun while working up a sweat in order to have a successful regimen.
